Episodes

Season 1: Earth's Mightiest

  • 1. Forward Movement, Part 1: When Stark Industries technology begins to mysteriously disappear, Iron Man investigates. However, in the middle of the investigation, he and Captain America run into alien shape-shifters known as the Chitauri, who are building a massive super-weapon in order to subjugate Earth. To compensate for this, Iron Man and Captain America enlist the aid of fellow super-heroes Thor and Hulk, who had also been attacked by the Chitauri. However, they soon discover that the invaders had been using the technology in order to create a signal-flare in order to summon their entire invasion fleet to Earth.
  • 2. Forward Movement, Part 2: The Chitauri invasion has begun in earnest. In New York City, insect-themed heroes Ant-Man, Wasp, and Spider-Man join forces in order to get civilians to safety and quarrel the invasion as much as they can. With Earth at it's breaking point, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and Hulk return to New York City and unite with the three remaining super-heroes in order to finally put an end to the invasion.
  • 3. Growing Pains: After being introduced to the Avengers Mansion by Iron Man, the team begins to discover the struggles of working together towards a better tomorrow, especially due to the temper of the Hulk and the loner personality of Spider-Man. Meanwhile, a group of inter-dimensional monsters known as the Space Phantoms mysteriously appear in Avengers Mansion and take over the Hulk's mind, fueling the Avengers' strong distrust towards the Jade Giant.
  • 4. Foreign Purity: While on the hunt for the missing Hulk, the Avengers' Quinjet is shot down over the isolated African nation of Wakanda, which has been overrun by an enemy tribe led by the Man-Ape. On the run from the Wakandan forces, the Avengers encounter the Black Panther, the real heir to the Wakandan throne. Along the way, Spider-Man is separated from the Avengers and is captured by the Man-Ape. Now, the Avengers must find a way to free their young teammate and save all of Wakanda.
  • 5. Sandstorm: The Avengers, having recruited the Black Panther in place of the Hulk, return to New York City, only to be ambushed at the mansion by two super-spies, Black Widow and Hawkeye. It is eventually revealed that the two are really agents of the espionage agency S.H.I.E.L.D. who were sent to keep an eye on the Avengers. Meanwhile, the villain Sandman ignites a massive sandstorm over the city, forcing the Avengers, recruiting Black Widow and Hawkeye, to intervene.
  • 6. Gratuitous Services: After helping the Fantastic Four prevent an inter-dimensional dragon from destroying the Baxter Building, the Avengers are offered their services. However, things become odd for the Avengers, in particular Spider-Man, who is a close friend of the FF, when the Fantastic Four become more megalomaniacal and unpredictable. Eventually, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Ant-Man, and Black Widow investigate the disturbance and discover that the FF they aided weren't really the FF at all, rather, they were a small group of Chitauri left behind on Earth after their invasion was thwarted by the Avengers, and that dragon they prevented from entering the city was really one of their own genetic monsters. Now, the Avengers and the real Fantastic Four must team up in order to quarrel another Chitauri invasion.
  • 7. Flashbacks: Steve Rogers becomes distressed when he begins to have a series of unexplained nightmares. After trying everything (therapy, medication, yoga, etc.), he goes to the aid of the Sorcerer Supreme of this dimension, Doctor Strange. Upon entering Steve's mind, however, Strange discovers an onslaught of Rogers' personal demons and fears. Eventually, these are all revealed to be part of a plot by the dread Dormammu in order to try and get in to this reality. Now, Captain America and Doctor Strange must venture into the psyche of the former in order to combat the ruler of the Dark Dimension.
  • 8. Under Siege, Part 1: When 31st century time traveler Kang the Conqueror comes back to the 21st century in order to assassinate the President of the United States, the Avengers intervene. However, in the midst of the battle, they are transported into the future. They soon discover that the future they are in is Kang's future, a world where he had taken over. Now, the Avengers must find a way to get back to their own original timeline and stop Kang from taking over.
  • 9. Under Siege, Part 2: The Avengers succeed in traveling back through time, but are too late to prevent the assassination of the President. With the U.S. at it's weakest, Kang launches an invasion on the country and the world, which would set the path for his eventual rule and dominion over the planet. Now, the Avengers, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four must unite with one another in order to quarrel Kang's invasion.
  • 10. Thrill of the Hunt: When Black Panther is mysteriously drugged and kidnapped from Avengers Mansion, he reawakens in Wakanda without his equipment. Eventually, it is revealed that he was kidnapped by Spider-Man's old rival Kraven the Hunter, who wishes to find a new challenge in the form of a panther. Now, separated from the Avengers and unable to contact them, T'Challa must survive for as long as possible against Kraven's traps and devices.
  • 11. All A Mystery: After Spider-Man seemingly robs a bank and attacks two police officers, the Avengers suspend the hero's membership until further notice. However, when a new "vigilante" known only as Mysterio makes his appearance, claiming that he can stop this new menace of Spider-Man, Peter Parker becomes suspicious. Now, with the citizens of New York, the police, and even the Avengers against him, Spider-Man must find a way to clear his name and expose the menace of Mysterio before it's too late.
  • 12. Path Down Memory Lane: It's Friday night in New York City, and guess what? There's a blackout. It's not Electro trying to zap the city's power, it's just a blown fuse. During this blackout, however, Captain America, Iron Man, Wasp, Ant-Man, and Spider-Man are at Avengers Mansion without electricity, without internet, without television. While waiting for the city's power to come back on, the five super-heroes decide to share stories by candlelight about their earliest adventures.
  • 13. A Perfect World, Part 1: After a brutal scuffle between a faction of the Avengers and the villains Whirlwind and Melter, Hank Pym, being a pacifist, quits the Avengers to work on another program of his; Ultron, a peacekeeping force designed to replace the Avengers as a global peacekeeping force. But upon activation, Ultron comes to believe that the only way to ensure world peace is to control it. The only thing standing in his way of doing so; the Avengers.
  • 14. A Perfect World, Part 2: After Ultron incapacitates Spider-Man, Thor, and Hawkeye, the remaining Avengers must stand united against a series of Iron Man's controlled hall of armor. With almost everything to lose and nothing to gain, Giant Man must make the ultimate sacrifice to rectify his biggest mistake possible.
  • 15. Masters of Truth (1): The Avengers, still shaken by Giant Man's seeming sacrifice to destroy Ultron, recoup their losses by deciding to take a temporary leave of absence for a time to allow their injured to heal. But in the meantime, Baron Zemo, an old enemy from Captain America's past, sees this as an opportunity to crush America and gathers together several of the individual Avengers' past enemies (Including Amora the Enchantress, Scourge the Executioner, the Whirlwind, Melter, the Shocker, the Abomination, Whiplash, and the Crimson Dynamo) in order to take over New York City and, eventually, Washington D.C.
  • 16. Masters of Mercy (2): With New York at it's lowest, especially with the X-Men and Fantastic Four out of the country at the time, the Avengers must reunite in order to combat Baron Zemo's group of villains.
  • 17. Masters of Evil (3): After Zemo tricks Amora into usurping all of her power into himself, he becomes near god-like in ability. With most of their numbers depleted, the Avengers must use all their might to put an end to Zemo and his Masters of Evil.
  • 18. Armageddon, Part 1: In the wake of Zemo's attack on Washington D.C., the Avengers struggle to reconstruct their ranks. At the same time, Ant-Man leaves the team to re-evaluate where his priorities lie
