A clone of Spider Man, Benjamin Reilly, aka the Scarlet Spider strived for the same peace as his "father" did. taking up his own mantle as The Scarlet Spider, He fought alongside his clone and other heroes, even joining Toxin's team with him, until a symbiote attached to him. He was considered an enemy briefly, until he overcame its power and gained control. To this day, he continues to fight the symbiotes alongside his teammates, and with the help of his own symbiote.
