Marc Spector is an Atlanta city resident, and is best known for his superhero alias, Knight, also known as Moon Knight. Spector was a mercenary for the military, who was awarded dozens of honorable commemorations and many badges of honor for participating in international wars and mysterious cases. Marc was well known by his peers because of his uncanny intelligence, his skills of hand to hand combat, martial arts, multilingualism, and his courage during battle, also his love for his city Atlanta, and he would even give his life for the city, although it was inevitably doomed by mafia wars.
When the crime lord Wilson Fisk smuggled the artifact Khonshu, that possessed the soul of the spiritual high evolutionary (spiritual entities like God) Khonshu, Fisk was enforced with retrieving the artifact to safety. Posing as one of Wilson's own, Marc secretly infiltrated Wilson's cartel, and in an attempt to recover the artifact, he was caught and was beaten near to death. However, he escaped with the artifact of Khonshu and escaped the cartel before dying himself. The high evolutionary Khonshu, which resembles the totem of the moon bat, pleased of Marc's heroism, offers his soul a chance to live again, in exchange of complete devotion to the protection of his city. Marc accepts, and is revived, and he absorbs all of Khonshu's supernatural powers and forces. Now reborn as the Moon Knight of Atlanta, Marc is living his life as a billionaire and in his alter ego, as the Knight.

He has superhuman strength, durability, agility, speed, reflexes, acrobatics and dexterity, longevity, enhanced vision, and has the rare spiritual power, the Force, which almost nobody except for Doctor Strange and the Ancient One possess. The Force is a mystical power created by Dormammu that will allow it's user to completely manipulate his/her enemy by spiritual willpower.
