History

Quote1 Okay... I'm never forgetting the fact that this puppo had gnawed on that purple grapefruit's furrowed chin several times, and barely took a beating... I really wish I got to watch that... Quote2
Human Torch

Early Years

The Inhuman dog named Lockjaw was born from the Attilan Inhumans' experimentation on Earth's canines when his parents had been brought to Attilan, a secret Inhuman civilization located on the dark side of the Moon, and were thoroughly experimented with little torment thanks to Attilan technology, thus genetically inheriting the abilities of multidimensional teleportation as well as other abilities as soon as he was born. Lockjaw grew up serving as the Inhuman Royal Family as their long-time escort and means of quick transportation, Lockjaw also became the royal family's loyal companion and protector for years that followed, in which Lockjaw was mainly known for having the closest friendly and familial bond with Princess Crystal upon growing up, as she was the one who convinced then King and Queen to adopt Lockjaw, lasting until the successive reigns of Black Bolt and Medusa in the early 2000s.

Earth Adventures

The iconic pair of Lockjaw and Crystal would get themselves, among some of their relatives, often involved with exhilarating encounters and engaging in adventures on Earth, despite such occurrence being a social taboo implemented by her family to the people of Attilan for millennia, except if the task involved rescuing a threatened Inhuman and taking them to Attilan for a peaceful sanctuary. Thankfully, their clandestine journeys beyond the borders of the Moon would eventually lead them to encounters with the space-traveling heroes that were the Fantastic Four by the mid-2000s, helped protect the Attilan people from the internal threat of Prince Maximus and the Unspoken's extremist revolt against his allegiance in the early 2010s, and later joined the Inhuman Royal Family and S.H.I.E.L.D. in dealing against the Skrull infiltrators' attack by spring 2015 during Ultimate War. In time, the more the Royal Family spent their time in human affairs on Earth, the more Lockjaw had developed friendships and somewhat of a cult following with fellow heroes and even numerous of citizens who greatly adored the Inhuman pup the moment they laid their eyes on him.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

Inhomo Canis Lupus Familiaris Physiology Lockjaw is an Inhuman dog whose major power is the ability to teleport himself and up to about one ton of additional mass (including up to a dozen people, if their combined weight does not exceed that limit), across space and even to other dimensions. In order for Lockjaw to teleport another person or object with him, the person or object must stand within a radius of about 14 feet from Lockjaw's body, and preferably be in contact with him. Lockjaw is capable of teleporting himself as little as 10 feet or as far as 240,000 miles (the distance from the Earth to the Moon at its apogee) from his original spot.
