Heroes Die is a major Marvel Comics crossover. In it, Galactus discovers that he is growing near his time of death and can only absorb one more planet. He chooses Earth, the only planet, besides Zenn-La, that has eluded his grasp. He sends all of his former and current heralds, including Firelord, the Silver Surfer, and Ronan the Accuser, to weaken Earth's heroes for his onslaught. All of Earth's heroes and most of its villains must gather to save the planet. The series leads into Galactus: The End.
